Steve Horne
Founder & CEO
Steve hails from Cape Town and comes from a technical background having developed financial & operating systems for blue-chip companies since the late 80's. His entrepreneurial passion and two decade-long experience lead him to lecture on the subject before moving to banking, where he focused on Risk and Data Security for several years.
He has since functioned as Director of Projects and CTO of United Bank for Africa (UBA) - spanning 22 countries.
Vernon van Rooyen
COO
Vernon is a telecom executive specializing in network operations with a desirable blend of Commercial and Technical skills. He has a wide knowledge base that spans across technology, planning, network management and operational delivery. Vernon began his career at Standard Bank in their Datacentre department, but soon moved to IBM where he specialised in network connectivty and wide area networks. In 2010, Vernon who was already living and working in Nigeria, was employed as General Manager of Network Operations for Vodacom Nigeria and is involved in strategic network operations. After the sucessful acquisition of Gateway communications he helped transition the network and its 200-strong staff into the Vodacom Group. In 2018 Vernon then again moved to Amdocs to help expand their Enterprise and intelligent Operations services into West Africa.
Dan Buliga
CTO
Dan Buliga is a leading IT strategist and Enterprise Architect with a strong technical background and a broad experience in designing, delivering and implementing solutions for controlled and regulated environments. Having delivered internal and external secured platforms for telcos across the world for the past 8 years he is a recognised leader,
applying high-impact technical solutions to business objectives with capabilities that transcend standard IT operation boundaries. Currently he is working with various organisations to achieve maximum benefit from their IT investment, through meticulous research, development and implementation of technologies.
